"The Latest" is a weekly encouraging note from one of our pastors which also highlights upcoming events.

Happy Sabbath,

My grandmother wasn't an active follower of Jesus for most of her life. As she neared the end, she made peace with God. When my mother asked her about how she was with God, grandma replied, "I'm safe in the arms of Jesus." No matter what is going on in your life or the world around you, you are safe if you are in Jesus' arms. He has conquered death and has promised to come again and restore all things. However great the loss or setback, Jesus' grace much more abounds (see Romans 5).

Our dear sister Jeana Muir is mourning the death of her husband of 86 years. Please reach out to Jeana as she mourns Don's passing.

If you're comfortable, we would love to have you for outdoor worship and Sabbath school tomorrow. The weather looks to be lovely.

Be well,

Pastor Nathan

Announcements and Info

  • The Central California Conference of Seventh-day Adventists is canceling its in-person July 2021 Soquel Camp Meeting and the following in-person ministries for the 2021 summer season: Wawona Summer Camp and Teen Bible Academy. As for our Youth Rush Literature Ministry, we are looking to implement a safe and effective modified program (subject to the lifting of current regulations in California, and if that is not available then to partner with one of our Seventh-day Adventist Conferences in another state). These actions were made with much consideration for the health and safety of our children, young people, and members of various communities as we face the ongoing challenges of the global Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
